IT IS A SCIENTIFIC DEVICE THAT USES THE

VIRTUAL REALITY

TO EVALUATE AND TRAIN THE VISUAL ATTENTION AND MEMORY LEVELS

The employment of virtual reality by using the MOT (multiple object tracking), allows the person to obtain “The Visual Attention Index" and to train the perceptual and cognitive processes in different fields, providing a wide range of sports and health solutions

WHY VIRTUAL REALITY?

Virtual reality allows you to do tests and trainings of the perceptual and cognitive learning skills with the highest effectiveness.

THE PARADIGM

The multiple observation of moving objects (Multiple Object Tracking;  Pylyshyn & Storm, 1988; Pylyshyn, 1994.) describes the ability of monitoring simultaneously the movement of a maximum of five target objects while they are moving through the visual field. Generally, an equal or a greater number of identical objects are used at the same time as distractors.

Each training session consists of a sequence of exercises in which the person has to select, monitor and recollect the main targets, following the trajectories for a few seconds in the presence of distractors and recognizing them at the end of the exercise. It is a simple exercise that becomes more complex and challenging. In addition, VR-Brain Tracker adjusts a specific difficulty level to each person.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

WHAT DOES IT TRAIN?

VR-Brain Tracker trains attention in its different components, significantly affecting the person's perceptual and cognitive capabilities.

VR Brain Tracker improves the peripheral vision by facilitating a more selective scanning of the environment and by increasing the concentration capability levels in performing tasks that require a high-skilled attention.
